The Centennial CD, a celebration from the Western Michigan University School of Music, is a 2-Disc set.
The first disc features the music of faculty soloists & ensembles, including the Western Jazz Quintet, Western Brass Quintet, Western Wind Quintet, University Chorale, Lori Sims, Carl Ratner, Richard Boldrey, Robert Tweten, Igor Fedotov, Gary Hammond, The Merling Trio and Renata Artman Knific.
The second disc features student ensembles including the University Symphonic Band, Gold Company, University Jazz Orchestra, University Chorale, University Symphony Orchestra, University Percussion Ensemble, and the Bronco Marching Band.
The song list includes Western favorites like the WMU Alma Mater, the WMU Fight Song and Gal in Kalamazoo as well as familiar classical music from Chopin, Handel, Dvorák and Mozart.
